This is such a gut wrenching story true story. It will have you crying and then if you are like me, yelling at the parts that make you angry. Philomena was forced to give up her son in 1952 and this is her story, years later going on the journey to find him to try and find out were and how he lived during his childhood and adulthood. I loved this book so much. You will as well but you will also cry and feel so enraged about how women were treated in Ireland in the 1950s.
I bought this book second hand but it is in great condition with very little wear and tear.
